New cocktail lounge coming to The Barker!

A new cocktail lounge will be opening downtown in August.

The Omaha Lounge, 1505 Farnam St., will provide Omaha with old-school and traditional drinks.

The lounge will not focus on craft cocktails or beers. Owner David Sullivan said he wanted to focus more on traditional cocktails such as old fashioneds and martinis.

Increase in traffic coincides with Papillion office park’s final phase

When the first building in the Papillion Professional Park went up a decade ago amid cornstalks near 72nd and Halleck Streets, developer Mike Moylan knew it was ahead of its time.

"The timing was a little early," said Moylan of Shamrock Development, "but we were convinced 72nd Street was heading in the direction of being the major north-south corridor in the area."
